How to apply worm castings to your garden:

Apply worm castings to your potting mix, directly to the plant base, or as a top/side dressing.

Mix worm castings in with your soil when planting. Typically, a mixture of 20% worm castings to 80% soil can provide an increase in water retention, improve soil structure, add protection from pests, and introduce beneficial microbes to your soil. 

Blend worm castings into your seed starting mix. This method can provide seedlings with a nutrient boost, improve germination rates, and can also help protect seedlings from diseases.

Brew a batch of worm casting tea. This method creates a liquid fertilizer that can be applied as a foliar spray or soil drench for an added nutrient boost while introducing beneficial microbes to your plants.
